This fabulous 15ct Gold antique heart Locket and chain is Victorian Circa 1900.

The wonderful heart shaped locket is decorated in beautiful engraved detail with beautiful cream and violet Enamel Pansy petals and a lovely Pearl in the centre.

Pansies express a deep longing love for someone. During the Victorian era the pansy was used as a secret message of ones love for another during a time when passion and romance was largely frowned upon.

The Locket opens up to reveal two glass windows fitted with Gold rims in which you can add a piece of your own history in the form of a photograph or lock of hair.

The Locket is hallmarked 15ct Yellow Gold on the reverse and fitted to a 14ct Gold chain.

A lovely, sentimental antique piece that looks beautiful when worn!
